With so many great wedding venues around Massachusetts, it can be overwhelming to decide where to host your wedding. I am a vendor for the Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding photographer and have nothing but great things to say about this venue which is a short 45 minute drive from Boston. Not only is Gibbet Hill a wedding venue, but a restaurant as well. That means you know the food will be amazing! The groom and his groomsmen often hang inside the restaurant and have a beer or two while waiting for the ceremony or first look. Aside from the food, the staff is fantastic to work with. They have all worked a ton of weddings over the years and I have never had a single issue shooting a wedding there. There are so many great views and places for photos that no matter what the weather I am never concerned with being able to get fantastic photos at every event at gibbet.
An important thing to consider when booking your wedding venue is if it rains, where will you be able to have your ceremony? At Gibbet there are two indoor options, both of which are fantastic for photos and allow me to use natural light for as many photos as possible. If the weather is cooperating, having your ceremony out on the lawn is a beautiful setting for you to tie the knot! I am constantly finding new areas around the grounds of Gibbet Hill to photograph. There is a farm off to the side which I have worked in several different ways as well as a ton of tall grass to shoot through which looks beautiful in photographs! If you are looking for an up scale rustic venue, look no further than the barn at gibbet hill!
