I have been a Willowdale Estate wedding photography vendor for several years and shoot at least 3-4 weddings there a session. I love working at the Willowdale for so many reasons! I have personally worked with almost all of their event staff and they are extremely knowledgeable and work with me and all the other vendors to make sure your wedding day goes smoothly. They even have a new service where they will help plan your wedding so that you don’t have to find an outside planner to find vendors, schedule your wedding day, and help with timeline among many other day of details. You can have a wedding on the back patio, or inside if the weather isn’t cooperating, either way there is always great natural light which is exactly what I need to make fantastic photographs of your wedding!
There are a ton of delicious food, and more importantly desert options. We’ve seen ice cream and pie bars, BBQ buffet, and flat bread pizza to name a few. If you need to get ready on site both of the suites in the estate are large and have fantastic natural light. Unlike getting ready in a hotel, there is a hook to hang your dress up in the bridal suite and if your ceremony is on-site it is that much easier to simply walk down the stairs to your first look or ceremony to start your wedding day! The tent out back is beautiful and you can decorate it in several different ways depending on your personal taste and style. Hang some lanterns to fill the space, bring in a band or a DJ to liven up your wedding reception and party the night away! Each time I shoot a wedding at the Willowdale I find new places for photos and am constantly surprised by how versatile the venue is in any weather condition. Estates around Massachusetts are some of my favorite places to shoot weddings, and the Willowdale definitely ranks as one of my top estates in the state!
