Decordova Museum

Before photographing weddings here I visited this museum as a patron on a regular basis. The DeCordova is in a beautiful town called Lincoln which is about a 20-30 minute drive from Cambridge. Driving up to the museum you would never guess that in a neighborhood full of amazing homes there would be a large museum with a couple dozen outdoor sculptures and installations. There is literally no limit to the amount of beautiful locations on their property. Between the landscape, the outdoor roof deck, the outdoor sculptures and indoor artwork, there is so much to work with here. I always love coming back to explore different areas of the property for photos and work with each couple to see what their favorite works or areas are as well. The staff is a pleasure to work with and always works with me to make sure we can create a stress free environment for the couple. And you get to have your reception in the main gallery, so for all the art lovers out there, it is a unique situation to find yourself in!
