The wedding season is finally winding down and that means I get to go back through the year and blog some of my favorite weddings! Back in May we shot Eva and Jack’s Boston Public Garden Wedding. When you read that you think, “Oh, they probably got a permit and had everything all set up.” but that wouldn’t be their style. Instead, they got ready at the Boxer Hotel near North Station and the couple, along with their 50 or so guests, took uber cabs over to the public gardens where we set up a small ceremony area under a tree and made it happen. I would call it a flash wedding, except there was a 20 minute ceremony followed by our photo session and thankfully none of the park rangers or cops shut us down. A couple of cool touches from the bride and groom, the groom’s mother made Eva’s wedding dress. And one of Eva’s bridesman man her a game of life that was pretty impressive! We then headed to JM Curley’s for a late brunch which included waffle egg sandwiches, crepes, and my favorite, tater-tots! There were some extremely heart felt speeches after brunch followed by a game of trivia provided by MCO productions. We had an awesome time with these guys and their family and am so thankful they had us on for their wedding day!
