Having a Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm wedding in Peabody, MA is an amazing place for a rustic or farm style wedding! I have been shooting weddings there for about six years and each time I go I am reminded of it’s uniqueness in New England. It has a very classic barn feel with large sliding doors that let in a lot of natural light and fresh air. It also gives you a great indoor option in case of rainy weather, and there are several options for outdoor ceremony locations as well. The twinkle lights that wrap around the entire barn make for a beautiful sparkle in the background of all your reception and dance floor photos.
I shoot at a lot of different kinds of venues, and there is always something so nice about a barn wedding. The venue itself comes with so much character, that is easily customizable to the style of your wedding. Being from the North East, a wedding in a barn gives me a warm feeling. There is an immediate intimacy that comes with a barn style venue. The farm and the property add so much opportunity for photographs, and each time I am there feels like it’s own unique day. The Smith Barn feels great during the spring, summer, and fall. Party the night away at this intimate and charming venue.
