This past summer I had the pleasure of shooting a Granite Links Golf Club Wedding in Quincy, Ma which has one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Boston. I met Jenn solo in our initial meeting and as soon as I started showing Jenn photos and wedding albums I knew we were going to be a great fit. Jenn has to be one of the nicest clients I’ve have worked with so far. The entire day all their guests were talking about how fantastic Jenn was, how kind of a person she continues to be, and how lucky Terry was to be marrying her. I can’t say I disagree! Terry was no slouch in the friendly department either as we got along immediately upon our first meeting at the Granite Link’s Tavern (conveniently called “The Tavern”) a few weeks before the wedding to get an overview of what they were thinking for their wedding day.
The ceremony was held on site in the ballroom which was flipped afterwards for the reception. We did all the photos around the grounds starting near the Tavern and working out way down to a historical section of the property where there is an old granite quarry and some great looking structures to photograph. Interestingly enough, Jenn’s sister was getting married a few weeks after Jenn and her father gave a great speech followed by removing his jacket and revealing a sign that said “One down, one to go”, it gave everyone a good laugh. Jenn and her dad had an arranged dance which also got a lot of laughs. I recently started to work on Jenn and Terry’s wedding and I remember it being extremely low stress, which are always my favorite kind of days!
