I never know if I am going to get weddings as early as the first weekend in April, but this year we started the season off with a Willowdale Estate Wedding! Aoi and Matthew have to be some of the most genuine and kind people we have ever encountered. After they got ready at a hotel off-site in the morning, we headed to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Topsfield just a short drive away from the Willowdale Estate where the reception was held afterwards. Most of the weddings I’ve photographed there were in the fall, and being there so early in the season made the whole venue look completely different! Some of my usual spots have a completely different look and feel because of the weather, light, and foliage. During their first dance we had an amazing sunset and I pulled the couple out afterwards for a quick photo session where we got some of my favorite shots of the day. Thanks Aoi and Matt for being such a great first wedding for the 2014 season!
