I worked with a lot of remote clients in 2013, now that I am writing all these blog posts from the year I’m starting to realize how many couples come to Boston from where ever they wound up to tie the knot. Boston is a city that never seems to leave you no matter where you go! This Royal Sonesta hotel Wedding with Annie & Brian who live in the south came to Boston to have their wedding because a lot of Annie’s family and friends live in the area. The whole day was at the Royal Sonesta, and like a lot of my clients, wanted to have their photos finished before the actual wedding started. We had family and bridal party walk a block down the street to a small park that gets nice light for family, bridal party, and bride and groom photos. Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel for the signing of the ketubah, followed by a traditional Jewish ceremony under a Chuppah and ending with the breaking of the glass. After that they had a cocktail hour, followed by a large Hora in the center of the dance floor where I saw some great crowd surfing from the bride and groom and their families. Thanks Annie and Brian for having us for your special day and for being such fun clients!
