When I first met with Anjali for her initial consult for their Willowdale Estate Wedding, she was very intent and letting me know that this was not going to a traditional wedding. She was not even sure if she was going to wear a dress! Instead, they decided to stick with the traditions from their cultures that they enjoyed, and add themselves into the wedding more by having it be a bring your own hat wedding. Both the bride and groom got ready in the same location with all their friends and family in the same hotel room. Everyone was drinking whisky and enjoying themselves before the day began. We arrived at the Willowdale Estate and we got all their bridal party, family, and bride and groom photos done before the wedding as a lot of my clients request. After photos were done, all their guests started arriving and there were a ton of different kinds of hats! Everything from a top hat to a beer helmet, and for my fellow nerds out there, someone even had on Cammy’s hat from Street Fighter! The rest of the night was filled with drinking, ice cream, and dancing! I knew this wedding was going to be fun from the start and Anjali and Isaac did not disappoint!
