A few years ago I was hired by HBO to photograph a nationwide event where they flew all the living World War II veterans to Washington DC for a memorial for their service to coincide with the release of their new show, The Pacific. My contact at HBO and one of the head coordinators for this “Honor Flight” was Rory, who kept my contact information on hand and reached out to hire me for her Mountain Top Inn Wedding this past June! This being my first time to the Mountain Top Inn, I was excited to have such beautiful grounds to photograph! We arrived in the morning for some getting ready shots, followed by a first look, family and bride and groom photos all which had an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and lakes. The ceremony was on the lawn above the check in lodge at the inn, followed by a reception in their recently renovated (and quite stunning) ballroom which is a post-and-beam structure with a lot of charm and character. I don’t make it up to Vermont often for weddings, but when I do I always seemed to be blessed with fantastic light and a beautiful couple!
